Eastman Kodak has made a very positive development by winning the latest round in the company's patent dispute with Apple and Research In Motion. In context to the same, even the shares of the former company jumped in the Friday's extended session.

Eastman Kodak Co. has informed that due to plunge in the sales of rich and vibrant film, Kodachrome, the company has decided to terminate the film.

Sales of Kodachrome film have plunged as photographers resorted to digital cameras and newer film.

The move came as Kodak tries to focus on its digital business.
