Richard Kramer Named the New CEO of Goodyear

"This decision is the logical and anticipated culmination of a well-thought-out succession plan", James C. Boland, Goodyear's lead director, revealed in the statement.
Goodyear Reports Q4 Profit, Exceeds Wall Street Expectations

The Akron, Ohio, based tire company posted an 8 percent increase in volume as global demand remained on a high.
Goodyear Earns Record Targets

The earnings are far better than the company expected in the third quarter of 2009. The profits earned in the three months rose to $72 million, as compared to $31 million, a year ago.

Goodyear to shutdown Philippines tire plant, 500 jobs to go

The shutdown of the plant will result into around 500 job losses.
