‘HBO GO’ – HBO’s video-streaming service debuts on Verizon FiOS
Submitted by Justin Sorkin on Thu, 02/18/2010 - 07:04Thursday onwards, pay-TV bigwig HBO will officially debut its video-streaming service – ‘HBO GO’ - on the Verizon FIOS infrastructure. The new service, which will provide Web access to the movies that HBO screens on cable TV, will be available, at no extra cost, to the nearly 38 million cable subscribers of the HBO and sister service Cinemax.

The coverage would include the telecast of the star-studded opening ceremony on Sunday, January 18, in which Obama and Joe Biden, will attend at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
