Drop in Unemployment Rate and Rising Confidence; Australians Hoping for a Better Future

But today, even after consecutive increases, the country seems to be doing just about alright. The main reason for this seems to be the rapid decline that has been lately recorded in the rate of unemployment.

Dairy producers to receive $290m

The national average price for milk plunged from $16.80 per hundredweight in the fourth quarter of last year to $12.23 in the first three months of this year, representing a decline of around 27 per cent.
