Executing two search warrants on Monday, agents from the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) raided the Florida offices of Colonial BancGroup and the wholesale mortgage lender Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage. The raid follows the fizzling out of a financial deal between the two companies!
Gliding through the overcast conditions, space shuttle Endeavour, piloted by Shuttle commander Mark Polansky, safely touched down at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, at 10:48 a.m. EDT (1448 GMT). Researchers at the University of South Florida said back-to-back studies showed brains and blood of mice exhibiting symptoms of Alzheimer's to show significantly decreased levels of the protein linked to the disease with caffeine.
According to the Insurance Information Institute, with the hurricane season just round the corner, insurance is either getting pricier or harder to get for most of the homeowners.
