Verizon files rebuttal in contentious 3G coverage maps case filed by AT&T

US bank failures hit 106

Partners Bank in Naples, with its $68.7 million in assets plus $63.4 million in deposits, was taken over by the FDIC.

Delta Air Lines reports $794 million first quarter loss

While the loss falls below the earlier year figures of a $6.39 billion loss, the year-on-year comparison cannot be taken in an exacting sense, since Delta took over Northwest Airlines in October for $2.8 billion last year.
HRW: Russia, Georgia should stop cluster bomb use

The report showed that 18 civilian towns were affected by cluster munitions during the conflict last August, in violation of international law.
