Researchers from the Tulane University Middle America Research Institute have found a Mayan text from the Guatemala jungles, which uncovers the last date for the Mayan calendar, as per a recent report.

While the same does not signalize the last day of the world as believed by modern people, it certainly only points towards ancient political history, the team says.
