Dark Horse and EA: First issue of Mass Effect iPhone comic “free” on launch day!

Mass Effect: Redemption

With the first issue of the four-part comic series ‘Mass Effect: Redemption’ scheduled to hit the iTunes App Store February 3, Dark Horse and Electronics Arts (EA) are celebrating the release by making the issue ‘free’ on the launch day.

After the one day “free” offer for the “digital comic” version of the game, it will be priced at 99 cents. Though most of the ‘Mass Effect 2’ aficionados might already be having the collectors’ edition of the game, including a mini-edition of the first issue, the ‘free digital comic’ launch-day offer might just be too difficult to resist, especially for those who love moving images.

Those desirous of getting a hold of Mass Effect comic should avail the opportunity of checking out the first issue of this digital comic on their iPhone or iPod Touch.

Meanwhile, as per developer Bioware, the latest ‘Mass Effect 3’ installment is a highly thrilling game which takes off from where the first game ended - with the gamer in control of Commander Shepard, who is a natural-born leader touring galaxies to fight off different enemies for the greater good.

The 20 to 40-hour game will likely be the potential ‘Game of the Year’ for a majority of gamers, for reasons more than one - not only is it one of the most expressively-immersive games thus far, but is also a matchlessly-enthralling RPG third-person shooter!
