Google cracks whip upon IE6 as it becomes the victim of a high-profile attack from hackers understood to be based in China, who exploited the code in IE6. Google confirmed the plans to dump the support for old browsers.
"We're also going to begin phasing out our support, starting with Google Docs and Google Sites. As a result, one might find that from March 1 key functionality within these products - as well as new Docs and Sites features - won't work properly in older browsers." As the Google officials said.
Security being the primary agenda, a joint effort has been put with Microsoft to keep a tab on the agonizing issues. These threats raise serious doubts on the loopholes in the "perfectly made" software. IT biggies better have a back up as this may prove fatal.
