Most People in UK Unable to Take 8-Hour Sleep

A recent survey has revealed that a majority of the Britons have not been taking a proper 8-hour sleep at night.

The average trend in sleep duration has become 6 hours for them. The experts warn that the improper sleep gives way to a lot of health problems like heart ailments, memory loss and diabetes.

The experts have also pointed out evidence that says that improper and less sleep arouses B. P. problems and strokes. As a result, nine out of ten people in the U. K. are reported to be tired all day.

The survey that involved 3000 people found that an average 87% of them are worried due to lack of sleep. Also 27% of them are already suffering from insomnia.

Also, many of the people find themselves being unable to sleep properly due to money worries and partners' bad sleeping habits.

Among the annoying habits of the partners, snoring was found to be at the top. "Getting a good night's sleep is so important - and even more so for people juggling busy lives at work and at home.

By creating the right environment and spending time relaxing and unwinding before you go to bed, you can maximize your chances of an uninterrupted night's sleep", said Presenter Susie Adams.

But on the contrary, most of the highly recognized personalities in the world have been observed to be sleeping for few hours at night. Former US President John F Kennedy and Napoleon Bonaparte are some such people.
