Recently, a secret document that the giant manufacturer of some of the world's most popular gadgets, Apple, makes its iPhone developers sign was unveiled, adding more evidence to the speculation that the company is trying its best to completely takeover the technology world.
The process which Apple follows to approve applications for its iPhone and iPod Touch has often been termed as "arcane” and “Kafkaesque”. But the strict agreement that the developers have to sign was, up until now, a mere speculation. But then the Electronic Frontier Foundation made one of the developers an offer that he could not refuse and thus the world now knows about the Apple letter.
The developer who had spilled the beans is none other than NASA, and the demand was made by the information seeker under the Freedom of Information Act.
Electronic Frontier Foundation revealed that the contract first of all demands that "You do not talk about the iPhone developer program" to anyone.
What has really surprised people is that all the truths revealed are actually contrary to speculations, and Apple has a good standing with the developers; some of them actually thank the company for creating a platform which has made them richer.
Things are expected to get even better with the iPad.
In such a scenario, it would be almost safe to say that Apple would soon take over the technology world, giving developers more and more platforms to work for, and offering them very lucrative payouts.
