Drink Tea to Reduce Ovarian Cancer Risk, Say Researchers

A recent research conducted by the University of Washington and National Institute of Environmental Medicine in Stockholm, concluded that drinking tea can be one of the effective measures in avoiding Ovarian Cancer.

"Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths. More women die of ovarian cancer as compared to other cancers of female reproductive system", says the report.

The research examined 2000 women falling under different age groups. The researchers found that women taking green tea at least once a day depicted a 54% lesser risk of developing Ovarian Cancer.

The report of the researchers was published in Archives of Internal Medicine.
