Strontium Announced the Launch of its Memory Designed For Mac

Strontium, a computer and flash memory products manufacturer, today revealed the launch of new Mac Memory made especially for Macbook, Macbook Pro and iMac.

The latest Strontium 667MHz and 1066MHz Mac memory modules are reported to be available as 2GB single piece, 4GB single piece, 4GB (2 x 2GB modules) kit or 8GB (2 x 4GB modules) kit.

These memory modules made use of IC s from Hynix, Samsung and Micron.

In addition, the company also offers lifetime warranty along with guarantees to provide the same brands and IC part numbers that Apple installs in its new machines.

"Utilizing performance IC's from Hynix, Samsung and Micron, Mac Edition SODIMMs are specifically designed for stability in digital media rich environments", said Sakeenah Su, Vice President, Strontium Technology. "They allow users to maximize memory capacity and throughput to increase their systems performance".

For DDR3-1066Mhz desktop modules, the prices are as follows: Rs 3,300 for 2GB, Rs 10,875 for 4GB, Rs 6,700 for 4GB kit, and Rs 21,750 for 8GB kit.

However, the DDR2-667Mhz laptop modules are priced at Rs 3,075 for 2GB, Rs 7,875 for 4GB, Rs 6,150 for 4GB kit, and Rs 15,750 for 8GB kit.
