Opera Mini 5 beta has been introduced by Opera Software by Opera Software, the application has been looked forward to as an extension to the earlier version 4.2 browser. The management boosts of it to be an improvement over the earlier version. Opera Mini 5 beta is already being run on Java phones, Blackberry.

The new version includes enhanced features of tabbed browsing, which facilitates the user to access various pages at once. It also has embedded in it Speed Dial, a tool to get to the user's favorite web pages in just one click.

To facilitate the user to coordinate bookmarks, it has Opera Link and to manage the download from the browser, it comes with Download Manager. Opera Mini permits fast web- browsing by allowing the compression of the data up to 90 percent before sending it to the mobile phone.
