RIM Uncovers New Blackberry Storm2 Phones

Research In Motion (RIM) has released Storm2 9950, featuring improved features including increased speed, 3.25-inch touchscreen with 360x480 resolution display at 184 ppi, along with Wi-Fi capabilities of this second generation release.

It also features a 3.2MP camera, 256MB of Flash memory and a 2GB of onboard memory storage accompanied with a microSD/SDHD memory card slot

A/NZ Managing Director for RIM, Adele Beachley, posts that users now possess a wide option range of free mobile applications to choose from following the recent launch of BlackBerry App World in Australia.

The company claims Blackberry Storm2's next generation SurePress technology includes improved tactile feedback and multi-key actions.

Moreover, it possess BlackBerry Media Sync for easily syncing photos and music from iTunes and Windows MediaPlayer

The previous model's clicking technology is replaced by gentle typing. Multi-key functions such as shift and alt-key combinations maximize use of the virtual keyboard.

In addition, it is claimed that the new Blackberry OS 5 software enables users to easily set dates and times.
