Nissan is well prepared to rule the U. K. roads with its all new medium-sized luxury SUV from the Nissan Murano, as the upgradation of the diesel-engine motor is complete. The new maneuvered version has 2.5 dCi four cylinder engines with six speed automatic transmission system. Elevated from 1800 bars to 2000 bars in the form of a direct injection system, the engine is capable of producing 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
Simon Thomas, Nissan's European Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, said that as the company is planning to strengthen its hold over the Crossover brand in the auto industry, the injection of diesel into the Murano complements the situation.
He said, "Murano was the first Crossover in range and now that this second generation model has a diesel engine, its appeal will be wider on the European market".
He further added that the crossover line up will be complete after the Juke and other smaller Crossovers with much more unpredicted options will be launched.
Other features that the improved Murano encompasses are - climate control system, mild-flow technology, leather upholstery, satellite navigation system, 18-inch alloy wheels, multimedia system and Scratch Shield metallic paint, a screen inserted to roof and DVD-based entertainment system.
