Acacia Research Corporation has informed that its subsidiary, Telematics Corporation, has entered into a patent license agreement with Cemtek Com, Inc.
It may be noted that Telematics technology generally relates to systems and methods for displaying mobile vehicle information on a map.
The company's technology can be used in navigation and fleet management systems that combine wireless communication with GPS tracking and map displays.
Acacia Research's subsidiaries develop, acquire, and license patented technologies. The company's subsidiaries control over 100 patent portfolios, which include U. S. patents and certain foreign counterparts, covering technologies used in a wide variety of industries.
The shares of Acacia Research ended the day at $2.51. The scrip touched an intraday high and low of $2.61 and $2.50.
