NYSE-listed Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has reported that it has completed the acquisition of Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc., a privately held dermatology company that specializes in the development of topical products on a proprietary basis, as well as for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, a multinational specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of pharmaceutical products primarily in the areas of neurology and dermatology.
At 10:00 AM (EST), the shares of Valeant Pharmaceutical were trading at $22.69, down 1% compared to previous close.
The scrip had made 52-week-high of $23.28 on 19-December,2008 and 52-week-low of $11 on 4-February-2008.
