An inappropriate comment made by comedian Kathy Griffin on CNN's 'New Year Eve at Times Square', has landed her in hot water.
Just as the live broadcast was going into commercial, Griffin co-hosting the special telecast with Anderson Cooper, responding to a heckler, said: 'Screw you. Why don't you get a job, buddy? You know what, I don't go to your job and knock the d*&$ out of your mouth.'
The incident captured live on the channel, the comment removed from the rebroadcast by CNN, is widely available on YouTube.
Not the first time Griffin has made controversial remarks. A live comment while accepting an Emmy for 'D-List' in 2007, seriously offended certain Christian groups.
It is unlikely that CNN will be in trouble, as there are no FCC rules regarding cable obscenity.
