Chain Travelodge Organizes Musical Concert for Sleepless Britons

In view of the sleepless nights the Britons have been spending for over a year now, due to the worries over job cuts, hotel chain Travelodge is going to organize a sleep concert for the sufferers.

The concert will see the artists playing doze-stirring tracks, which will allow the sleepless employees in overcoming their difficulties.

The employers, however, are considering the event useless and an opportunity of escaping work. They are of the view that it is another act of comforting the laziness in the staffers.

The concert has been planned as per the findings of the study titled annual Sleep and Professions study, which revealed that 75% of the Britons are suffering from a lack of sleep. They do not sleep for more than 6 hours every day.

The survey claimed that the major reasons for these sleepless nights were tensions over job safety, financial anxiety and work performance.

The study analyzed as many as 6,000 workers, associated with private sector organizations.

Leigh McCarron, Travelodge's Sleep Director, “Sleep concerts have been a great success in Japan where stressed-out workers will pay £50.00 for attending the concert”.

He added that the singers have prepared their own musical tracks.
