Annuity & Life Reassurance America Inc., and Heritage Union Life Insurance Company, two subsidiaries of Heritage Union, LLC, have announced the merger of both companies.
Under the arrangement, the combined company will operate under the name Heritage Union Life Insurance Company as an Arizona domestic insurer with licenses in 42 states and the District of Columbia.
The company officials revealed that Heritage Union will send notices about the name change to existing Annuity & Life Reassurance America policyholders, within 30 days.
However, the name change will not otherwise impact policyholders, they added.
Market experts believes that the completion of this merger is an important move in the company's plans to bring innovative new income protection life insurance products to market that are tailored specifically to meet the needs of middle-income American consumers.
