The convertible also features an "Openometre" to record the time spent by the drivers, while traveling with the roof down. In its distinctly MINI style, the new convertible symbolizes the delight of open-air motoring.

While the Mini convertible, priced at 24,550, receives a 1.6L four-cylinder producing 118 horsepower at 6,000 rpm; the MINI Cooper S Convertible, retailing at $27,450, receives a twin-scroll turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder that delivers 172 horsepower at 5,500 rpm.

With engine capacity 1,598 cc, both engine variants are fitted with a number of technical features for enhancing fuel economy and reducing emissions.

The new convertible is marvelously versatile with its folding rear-seat backrests, Easy-Load Function, and generous loading between the luggage and passenger compartments, increasing the cargo space of the car to 23.10 cu ft. There is ample scope for personalization in terms of color choices and equipment features.
