The iPhone 4 antenna flaw is still chasing Apple, this time on Twitter.
Through the last few weeks, Samsung’s Twitter account, @samsungukmobile, got overflowed with tweets from iPhone 4 users expressing their disappointment and frustration at the Apple device. As a result, Samsung replied with one tweet that put the smile back on the dissatisfied faces, saying, "Yes, we’re giving away Galaxy S. We’re proud of it so wanted to get it into some people’s hands to spread the word. Only a few left!”
The Korean mobile phone manufacturer planned on making it up for the current iPhone 4 users, who have already purchased the faulty devices, by giving them free Galaxy S mobile phones. The newly released Android Galaxy S is one of the best mobile phones in 2010, which make it the perfect compensation for the annoyed users.
Samsung contacted the lucky costumers through their Twitter accounts. Consequently, within 48 hours, the Company managed to raise the number of its followers on Twitter from less than 100 to more than 2800 followers.
In a statement to the press, Samsung announced that it is not sure whether the costumers are willing to replace their Apple devices with Samsung’s, in the long run, but the Company is sure that the costumers would be impressed with the Galaxy S.
