Facebook is now proving to be a life saver for people needing various organs and organ transplants. Many people are able to find organ transplants through Facebook by connecting with their network of friends. News reports have already confirmed that many people have been successful in finding organs through Facebook.

This has also surprised a lot of people but many feel that the popularity of Facebook ensures that any news like this can rapidly generate responses from various people.

Facebook is used by various businesses, politicians, entrepreneurs, musicians and other groups. Everyone is aware of the vast reach and power of Facebook and its potential to reach millions across the world. 

As per the estimates, almost 84,000 Americans are waiting for kidney transplants across the country and some of the people have been waiting for years. Many people have not been able to find any organ using the conventional ways and are turning to Facebook to find suitable donors. 

A 53 year old woman has been battling with kidney failure for the last eight years and she was not able to find a suitable donor. She decided to post this on Facebook and received responses from 200 people and successfully received a transplant.

Health experts also feel that Facebook is an effective way of getting an organ transplant and people should utilize it to get organ transplants.
