Hurricane Earl misplaced little power Wednesday morning, but an extended hurricane survey area point toward Earl might influence more of the East Coast.

Earl was positioned approximately 815 miles (1,315 km) south-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, as per the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida.

The cyclone crammed winds of 125 mph (205 kph) and was positioned northwest at approx 16 mph (26 kph).

A hurricane watch is at the moment in provoked for the area north of Surf City, North Carolina, to Parramore Island, Virginia, entailing the Pamlico and Albemarle sounds.
