HP's loss in Oracle's gain

Mark Hurd, who once got back HP to life is now going to be the co-President and Director on the board of Oracle Corp. He was earlier working as the CEO of HP and was thrown out because of his alleged sexual involvement with a lady contractor of HP.

Mark will be reporting directly to Larry Ellison, the head of Oracle. And with the appointment the long set of gossips about Mark's new job comes to an end.

Mark has more than tripled the profits and revenue of HP because of his cost cutting measures and allowing the company to venture into businesses other than its core one. And now that Oracle is also looking for expanding itself, the entry of Mark is considered most apt this time.

Talking to media, Ellison said that Mark has done some brilliant work in HP and it is more than expected that he will be doing very well for Oracle as well.

No comments came for the spokesman of Mark Hurd. Oracle also did not wish to comment on it.

Meanwhile, Charles Philips, one of Oracle's co-president resigned from his post.
