Roy Rodney Knapp, 47, from Airdrie, faces several charges after RCMP investigating a case of child endangerment, went to his home and found child pornography on his personal computer, leading the officers to seize his computer's hard drive.
His resisting arrest made the police suspicious, who while searching his home also found $5,450 worth of (52) marijuana plants, growing in his garage and backyard, which his Health Canada licence that had expired the day before, allowed him to grow only a maximum of 35.
Arresting Knapp on four counts, namely, possession of child pornography, resisting arrest, production of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, police conditions do not permit him to possess a personal computer, have Internet access, or download images.
