Recently the researchers examined that cell phones causes harmful effects on the children of pregnant women. The study concluded that the use of cell phones by pregnant ladies may prove hazardous for the children they are about to give birth.
The findings of the research suggest that women should avoid using cell phones during pregnancy as their children are more likely to suffer behavioural problems including hyperactivity and other social issues.
The research studied that those pregnant ladies, who used cell phones discovered abnormal behaviour in their children.
"These are important findings, but we are just at the beginnings of learning about potential effects of cell phones", said Leeka Kheifets, of the Department of Epidemiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and School of Public Health.
The researchers conducted the study on 28,000 children and after monitoring them he came to a conclusion that above 10% children, who had exposure to cell phones in the womb as their respective mothers used cell phones nearly four times a day and 50% of the pregnant ladies who never turned off their cell phones showed that their children suffered higher risks of behavioural problems.
She has even advised all the pregnant women to minimize the use of cell phones during pregnancy.
