It has been reported that Facebook is discussing alliance with Nokia. The Wall Street Journal has reported the social networking site is in talks with the world's largest handset manufacturer for its integration into Nokia mobile phones.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the news is out and hot because Facebook and Nokia have been negotiation partnership for months.
According to the WSJ, Nokia is in dilemma whether it should go with Facebook or it should create its own social network system; certainly, Nokia is considering setting up its own social network system, which is the reason why the two parties could not finalize the deal uptil now.
Nokia definitely is dilemma, according to the WSJ. It is thinking over if it builds its own social network platform, it might not work for it as successfully as Facebook.
On the other hand, Facebook is looking to develop much deeper relationship with Nokia. It is already integrated into a few new phones of Nokia; for instance Nokia's XpressMusic 5800 helps to check out friend's social network updates right on the start screen. It is looking for integration into more Nokia devices.
The WSJ reported that about Facebook-Nokia talks, very few details were available. The financial terms of the potential Facebook-Nokia deal are still unknown, and it is still unknown how many and which Nokia devices will come integrated with Facebook.
