Being scrutinized and criticized for her reported weight gain last month, saw Jessica Simpson tearing up and breaking down at a concert last week. But, making her first live television appearance Wednesday morning on CBS' 'The Early Show', while in Nashville for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, she did not directly respond to the criticism, but when huge fan support after the scrutiny was brought up, stated: 'Honestly, I am right where I'm supposed to be. I am so happy.' Maggie Rodriguez, the show's anchor complimenting Simpson, told her she thought she looked 'absolutely beautiful'.
And as if all the hoopla about her weight wasn't enough, Simpson also had to deal with speculation that her Dallas Cowboys quarter-back Tony Romo, had been unfaithful. But, she says she has been receiving a lot of support on the road, saying: 'Right now, I'm on tour with Rascal Flatts, having a blast. We're at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. Everybody's just been so warm and welcoming. Lots of hugs, I like that ... Texas style.'
Putting to rest rumours of an unfaithful partner, Simpson was seen partying with her beau Tony Romo and friends after opening for Rascal Flatts. While, she hung out with mostly women friends in the lounge area, he played pool with his buddies, later joining her in the lounge, as she sipped on Grey Goose and cranberry and the guys drank beer. Both Simpson and Romo looked happy together, embracing, talking closely, very much in love. They looked very happy.
