The $11.5 million third private funding round has been closed by Rivulet Communications, which is a market leader in mission-critical and real-time video applications over IP networks - its technology enables faultless HD medical video on the hospital IP network.
Rivulet Communications' singularly application-based approach to medical video offers an "anywhere, anytime" provision, whereby customers can impeccably transfer the requisite high-bandwidth applications over existing IP networks.
The advantages attached to the use of Rivulet products are far too many - these products help organizations realize the financially viable goals, which include real-time training and association; telemedicine applications with off-campus protected access and safe centralized storage. The best part of it all is that the products integrate perfectly into current medical systems.
The funding - which had investments coming from ATA Ventures, Performance Equity Management, Menlo Ventures, and Scorpion Capital Partners - will go towards activities related to market and sales development for integrators and prospects, as well as bringing forth a next-generation product line for kindling extensive growth.
In fact, Rivulet intends rolling out various product announcements in the near future; and making its presence felt at the Chicago AORN 56th Annual Congress, to be held from March 14 to March 19, 2009.
