Performance Designed Products (PDP), an industry leader in designing and manufacturing products for all major video game platforms and Hasbro, a worldwide leader in children's and family leisure time products and services have agreed to sign a multi-year, international license agreement.
The latest alliance is for the creation of a new line of video gaming accessories and products for popular gaming devices, iPods and cell phones.
A company official stated during announcement, that this new license agreement broadens the already successful business collaboration between PDP and Hasbro. The agreement includes international rights across many of Hasbro's well-known brands.
The upcoming projects for the year include video gaming accessories for the Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2 and 3 systems. Shares of the Hasbro gained $0.06, or 0.26%, to settle at $ 22.93. The total volume of shares traded was 4,359,519 at the NYSE.
