Apple Loses Against Samsung in US

One man’s loss is other’s gain; seems that’s the story between Apple and Samsung. Apple’s inability to control Samsung products and tablets in the US has given the South Korean a great rise in Seoul trading.

After announcement of the news, the shares of the world’s largest mobile phone maker rose by 2.2% which let Samsung won 1.07 million. This win has given a boost to Samsung as for quite a long time Apple was the one leading the penalty race.

On December 3, the US District Court in San Jose, California, ruled out the plea of Apple which asked the court to ban Samsung’s 4G smartphone and Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US. Experts call it the biggest loss of Apple as US is one of the biggest markets in the world.

Last month, Apple’s petition against Samsung failed in Australia where it called for an extension in the ban for indefinite period. Since April, the war between both electronic giants is going on and they have already filed 30 lawsuits against each other.

Apple is not going to accept defeat as lightly as it seems. Despite the US District Court ruling, they would continue making efforts to get Samsung products banned in the country. They have already got one-week extension in Australia and during the week, Samsung would not be able to trade in the country.

Samsung is making all possible efforts so that its products do not get banned in any of its trade country and also because Apple could not file any other lawsuit against it. They have changed their tablet design and named it Galaxy Tab 10.1N and it also introduced some changes in the way Galaxy’s photos are browsed.
