Britons Have No Time for Breakfast, Says Survey

Running late for office and not even fully dressed: that’s the saga for almost all working people as well as school going children. In such a condition, having breakfast, and that too with ease, is perhaps the last thing you can expect.

In this regard, the findings of survey conducted by Weetabix have presented the same reality. According to the survey which communication in excess of 2000 people, almost 50% people do not get time to eat breakfast while those who get time, they only have half of it and sometimes they do away with some bites.

Tradition to have hot breakfast each morning in the kitchen seems to be a thing of passé now. Nowadays, people are so pressurized by their work that they return home late night. And, the first thing they have in mind after getting up in the morning is to reach office as soon as possible.

Due to which, 22% people take their breakfast while getting ready for office and there are some who do not mind to take breakfast even in bathroom. About one-fifth of them were of the view that they make sure they take few bites from their breakfast plate but are never able to have it completely.

While there are about 33% people who have to take their breakfast while they are commuting to their office or on bus stops while waiting for the bus. There are people who have a habit of bringing their office work to home and they spend just three minutes to eat their breakfast as they are too busy surfing the net for office work. From the survey, it has been revealed that Britain people do not understand the importance of having breakfast.

Birmingham, London and Bristol are some places which have been highlighted in the survey as people here have one or the other reason for not having breakfast at all or for not having it completely.
