The new look of the social networking website, Facebook was rejected by the overwhelming majority of the Facebook users! According to a user online poll on the website, 94 percent users voted against the new layout adopted by the social networking.
In the Facebook poll, 94 percent users rejected the new format of the social networking site, saying that they disliked the new changes and wanted the old Facebook to return.
The poll found that just 6 percent of the Facebook users have approved the new changes adopted by Facebook. The iota of six percent Facebook users gave thumbs up to Facebook's new site layout out.
One of the Facebook users, Nanette Le Roux, posting negative comments, expressed the general feeling of 94 percent Facebook users. Le Roux said that the new interface "isn't user-friendly at all, a lot less interesting and I'm getting spammed by random applications I don't care about. Just another way to shove random, useless advertising into our faces."
"We are listening carefully to what people are saying about the new home page through a variety of channels - including through a popular application, built by outside developers on our platform, that allows users to vote and express their opinion," said Facebook spokesperson, in a statement to BBC's Radio 1 programme, Newsbeat.
