Overweight Man Gets Stuck In Bathroom After Falling

Very seldom it happens when the firefighters have to break the walls to pick up or rescue overweight people. In a recent incident, an overweight man fell in his bathroom and the firefighters had to break the wall to rescue him.

The incident took place on the second floor of the Center Moriches’ apartment. It has been informed that the apartment was occupied with debris and empty boxes which caused hindrance in rescuing an overweight man from the bathroom.

The man trapped in his bathroom is said to be 55 years old, who has worked as postal worker. The rescue team used chainsaw and ladder to break the wall to rescue him. The injured man was put on stretcher by using ropes and ladders.

It took the rescue team three hours to bring the man on the ground floor. The man was taken to the Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. The name and identity of the man has not been disclosed. It has been informed that throughout the rescue mission, the man was conscious.

Ron Primus from the Center Moriches Fire Department explained as to how the firefighters rescued the man. Ron Primus said, “Upon arrival we realized that the patient was not going to be able to be taken down the traditional staircase”. So we called ahead and had the fire marshals call in their technical team”.

It has been said by an official that the apartment of the man is unfit for human occupancy as it contain debris everywhere. However, the owner of the house has not yet commented upon the condition of the house.

It has been informed that the overweight man is not a hoarder. But the scattered stuff all round the house as made the officials think as to what the man was up to.
