Presence of an Attractive Woman Makes Men Generous

Men are thought to be irresponsible, careless and reckless but when it comes to attractive women the behavior of men changes significantly. Just like a peacock, they try their best to woo the love of their mates.

A recent study has found that if an attractive woman is around, then men tend to behave generously. The study was conducted by the researchers of the Sheffield Hallam University, the VU University in Amseterdam and Oxford University.

For the study, 65 men and 65 women were recruited. They were asked to play a simple game of donation in which each participant was asked to collect donation. It was found that men behaved generously and donated generously when an attractive woman was around.

The researchers proclaimed that as peacock fans its tail to look attractive to the female similarly men tend to be generous as they believe that women can be wooed with kindness and generosity. The findings of the study have been published in the British Journal of Psychology.

It has also been found that men tend to compete with each other to woo a woman. In a similar study, men were asked to make public donation. However, when they were being observed by an attractive woman, the men were found to be competing in the generosity.

The findings of the studies can prove helpful in raising funds. So next time if you are planning to raise funds for a cause then don't forget attractive women as they can bring jackpot to you and top your cause.

The lead researcher of the study, Dr. Iredale said, "The research shows that good deeds among men increase when presented with an opportunity to copulate. Theoretically, this suggests that a good deed is the human equivalent of the peacock's tail. Practically, this research shows how societies can encourage selfless acts".
