Coroner Asks Family to Refrain from Releasing Patient’s Documents

In a recent report it has been revealed that the court has ordered the family of a patient to refrain from releasing her reports. The name of the patient was Judith McNaught, and she was 69 years old. There is now an inquest being conducted on the death of the woman, who succumbed after the gall bladder operation she underwent at the Rockhampton hospital in the year 2010.

The coroner for the matter is Annette Hennessey. It was revealed by the family, that the woman had died due to a number of errors conducted by the hospital staff. It was released by Ms. Hennessey, that the family shouldn’t release any reports of the deceased woman yet.

There is need for cross examination of the document by Dr. Melanie Nicholson before it can be taken to court and can be used as possible evidence. The case seems to be a little more twisted than what it appears on the outside. There is need f rte m family to follow the procedure as said by the coroner, so that they get justice.

The family and the doctors are in this feud against each other. Dr. Suraji Sooriyaarachchi, one of the treating doctors, is of the view that the patient was in a very ill and deteriorating condition, and this is the reason the further tests couldn’t be conducted on her

The family on the other hand is f the view that it is the fault of the hospital staff that has led to the death of their relative. They need a proper explanation for the neglect and failure on the part of the hospital that has caused the death of their loved one. It’s a matter of time to see what the events turn out to be like.
