Exercise Benefits Refurbished

As per a study, being published in the Medical Journal of Australia, it has been revealed that exercise is a great way to keep oneself fit. The study has refurbished the fact that exercising keeps body fit and keeps all the physical problems at bay.

Winthrop Professor Daniel Green from UWA's School of Sports Science, Exercise and Health, said that a lot many studies have been done, which have said that exercise is not at all useful in reducing weight. However, they would like to reestablish the fact that exercising derives positive results but only if it is continued for a long time.

These days, people prefer opting easy measures and one of the easiest ways is to choose bariatric surgery. The excessive fat in the bay is removed surgically, said Green. It is getting popular, but is not the right way to shed weight.

Green said, “Bariatric surgery has an important and evidence-based role in the treatment of severe obesity. However, lack of attention to prevention, especially exercise, effectively condemns a large proportion of the 20 per cent of Australians who are already obese to disease progression and, ultimately, surgery”.

In order to reduce weight, a weight management programme is necessary and if one follows it dedicatedly then there is no chance that one does not achieve his weight loss target. Green said that it takes time for an obese person to lose weight as fat has been deposited in their bodies to great extent.

Moreover, their bodies have gone feeble and they are at great risk to have cardiovascular problem. In such a stage when one starts doing exercise then it takes time to shed away the fat and slowly they built up the stamina to do tougher exercises.
