It has been recently revealed in a report that the new Raspberry Pi phone is out for sale. It is a very small computer, the size of a credit card and the main aim for the same is to be able to teach children the coding system.

It is a bare minimum system and very cost effective as well. It has been created by a team of volunteers from academia as well as other members from the technology industry in the country. The computer system is very compact and comes without a case, a monitor or a keyboard. The Pi has seemed to interest students and educators in the country. There are many other enthusiasts who want to try out the new gorgeous little pocket computer, which is extremely handy and functional and one wouldn't have to spend oodles of money for the same.

"Initiatives like the Raspberry Pi scheme will give children the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of programming," "This is a great example of the cutting edge of education technology happening right here in the UK", said Eben Upton of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

It has been further revealed that there has been so much demand for the Pi that a website of the computer has crashed due to excessive demand. The launch the computer was done after there hasbeen a demand made by the Department of Education for bringing new methods of making children learn computer technology.

It remains to be seen how well the new computer system is accepted and how it can create rounds for itself in the education world. The makers are of the view that this computer might be able to help many people in the time to come.
