New Soap GCB Shows Desperate Housewives’ Life

It has been found by a latest report that ABC has premiered a new serial GCB, which is created and directed by Darren Star and Steel Magnolias.

The report finds that it is a story of a girl who is forced to go back to Dallas with her two teen-aged children. It has been found that the creators of the primetime soap had previously also given a successful soap named Sex and the City.

As per the findings, the serial has been written by Robert Harling and Leslie Bibb has been chosen as the lead star. She would play the main role of a reformed Mean Girl who faces a marriage scandal after few years of her marriage. A part of the script has revealed that she is then made to move in with her mother.

It has further been revealed that the women use to visit church each Sunday and spitfire Carlene Cockburn, played by Kristin Chenoweth, is a member of the choir in the church. According to the script tellers, Carlene, who leads a high school, has a grudge against the girl and he simply aims to make her life hell.

It has been told by the star that he loves the music used in the show’s soundtrack, which has been sung by Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. He affirmed further that they loved all the artists and Carrie Underwood, who is possible to come on show, is also a loving personality. He told that they all have become friends and fun goes on.

“It was really important for me to portray someone who had been bullied and who had been hurt. Now that she's redone herself, she's been the queen for a while and now that same bully is back in town and has changed”, said the star portraying his character as Carlene Cockburn.
