‘Angry Birds’ Tops Gaming Market

As per reports, it has been uncovered that the game ‘Angry Birds Space’ has become the favourite of gaming lovers and is thus, being seen on almost all iPhones and iPads across 99 countries.

While the game is the most downloaded one on most of the phones such as iOS, Android, PC and Mac, it is not available for Windows Phone, the report says. Peter Vesterbacka, who is the chief marketing officer of the game developer Rovio Entertainment, has told that the game would only be sold for Apple Inc.’s iPhone and Google Inc.’s Android platform handsets and not on Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Phone.

The report has found that Nokia has warned Microsoft to upgrade its smartphone business as it is failing. The company said that lacking the same would cause its failure to earn gaming-oriented users, which would further impede its development.

It has been found that the game offers a large series of unmatched features and modifications as well as retains the game play. Thus, it has been able to remain the biggest-selling mobile game in the market and that too at a low price of 99 cents.

“As the standard version is already number one on the Windows Phone app store, it gives a strong indication that no one else will expect to be making money writing for this platform either”, said Nomura analyst Richard Windsor.

It is being said that the game is a fun and addictive concept, for which no particular strategy is needed such as trial and error. The game-loving people highly like to slingshot to whip spiteful birds at the flimsy green pigs. And now, when planetary gravity helps in swinging your birds into the orbit before a crash landing, it is being morel liked, says the report.
