Need For Spreading Mental Health Awareness

It has been recently revealed in a report that according to a new endeavor by the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, there has been a new national awareness drive launched. It has been done to make the people of the country aware of the mental health issues people are facing in the vicinity and the need for taking a firm stand on the same.

There is need for extending a helping hand towards the people due to the rise in the number of cases of the disease seen in the country recently.

"Over our short history, headspace has already helped 62,000 young people deal with everyday issues in their lives before they become big problems. This campaign aims to significantly increase that awareness, reaching young people in the places they go for entertainment, and across the channels”, said Headspace Chief Executive Chris Tanti.

There is need for effectively launching a number of awareness drives s that people can realize how they are pushing their mental health issues backwards and doing themselves even more harm. There is need for them to understand that simply going to see a psychiatrist doesn’t mean one is going mad. It is essential that effective steps are taken towards spreading adequate attention towards this issue so that more and more people can talk openly about their health issues and make things work for themselves.

It remains to be seen what sort of affect this new drive tends to have on the people of the vicinity and whether it benefits them in the near future. It hopefully shall help people understand their mental health issues in the time to come so that they can treat them in the time to come.
