As per recent findings, it has been recovered that Google Chrome has been ranked number one in world's most popular explorer. It has been illustrated that Chrome has passed Internet Explorer to be ranked the highest position.

It has been reported that StatCounter Global estimates the popularity of a browser by taking into account 15 million page views a month by people all over world. It has been illustrated that over three million sites have been installed with a tracking code to acknowledge their view.

On the basis of this statistical analysis, it has been asserted that last week, Google Chrome over took Internet Explorer, calculated between 14 to 20 May.

It has been administered that this is for the first time that Chrome has bagged the highest position in the popularity list, thrashing away Microsoft's browser.

However, it has been claimed that despite being ranked number one, the browser is yet to make its place in US. US residents are termed to be more comfortable in using Internet Explorer and in case of Europeans; Firefox is more popular than Chrome.

It has been termed that it was majorly due to majority of Asians and South American residents voting in favor of Chrome, due to which it bagged the position.
