NSW Government Grants Millions for Building New Parking Sites at Maitland Hospit

As per recent reports, it has been revealed that multi-million dollars have been granted to expand car parking space for hospitals across the state.

It has been reported that Maitland Hospital has shown gratitude for the grant and looking forward to see their new expanded car parking slot.

It has been recovered that the expansion of the parking site at the Maitland hospital will be beginning by this Monday. It is being believed that this will help each patient and their carers with proper space in the parking areas, thus will even relieve the parking pressures previously encountered.

It has been unveiled that the NSW government has proposed to spend more than $100 million for construction of these parking slots at the hospitals which was much in demand.

Maitland MP Robyn Parker affirmed that it has been long since the NSW government was looking out for options to tackle the increasing problem of parking at hospitals in the area.

"We are building a 46-space car park within the hospital grounds near the Melbee cottage and it will be a designated, paid staff car park", Health Minister Jillian Skinner said.

Further, the Health Minister illustrated that once the new car park site is built, then a majority of space within the hospital parking will be freed.
