Need for Limiting Gas Emissions, says EPA

The District of Columbia’s United States Court of Appeals has been backing the decision of the EPA or Environmental Protection Agency to impose limits on gas emissions from industries, which may be a solution for the ongoing global warming issue, says a recent report.

“This is how science works. The E. P. A. is not required to reprove the existence of the atom every time it approaches a scientific question”, said the judges as an answer to arguments by industry.

The industry affirmed that the findings that these gases are responsible for the increasing warming rates are from unreliable studies and global warming science is also not evident. Though, the three-judge panel strictly denied the same saying the agency was all correct.

It has now been insisting that it is essential for the federal government to limit the amount of heat-trapping gases emitted by vehicles and industry. The reason behind is that the same causes extreme harms to public health as well as the Clean Air Act demands the same.

While some 14 states had sued the agency aiming to block its rules, other 15 came forward for its support. As per the findings, Virginia’s attorney general is also in favour and has decided to urge the ruling.
