Spicy treats can help you shed flab, says a new study. Researchers have recently bought out unusual findings, which are claiming that eating spicy food can help people get rid of their belly. The preferences are talking about red chillies, which professionals say battle hard against the bulge in a three-fold-way and helps shed flab.

Above are the findings of the tests that were recently conducted by food scientist Mr. Stephen Whiting. He confirmed from the findings of the tests that red chillies help burning fat of the body and also suppresses hunger call, thereby giving a boost to the calorie-burning rates.

The credit of the entire mechanism goes to the key chemical component called capsaicin, which is present in bigger quantities in red chillies. Experts explain that capsaicin adds heat to red chillies, which triggers an adrenalin rush and further passes on order to brain to burn fat cells from the body. Results showed the major effect upon fat around the belly, confirmed Mr. Whiting from the Manchester Metropolitan University.

“If you eat chillies consistently for a good period of time, it will help you lose weight”, Whiting said. In context to same, studies were also reported in the British Journal of Nutrition, explaining that men and women eating chilli-spiked food can control their fats as they feel lesser hungry and also eat significantly less.
