Laughter yoga is a key to unite body and health as it aims to make the practitioner the happier one. "You may not lose fat, but you will lose the idea that you're fat", said Mr. Sebastien Gendry, founder and executive director of the American School of Laughter Yoga, who founded the school in the year 2004. "People come because it's the exercise they can do and it makes them feel good”.
Laughter yoga do not necessitate a performer to twist and bend alike other yoga forms like Pilates yoga, water yoga, or aerial yoga but yes, they will be doing the yoga.
Researchers explain that laughter yoga included performing exercises like yogic deep breathing, stretching, and laughter exercises, which actually fills in the person with child-like playfulness and make him feel the results within.
The concept of laughter Yoga was introduced 17 years ago in Mumbai, India by Dr. Madan Kataria, Laughter Yoga International, institute which today claims the number of clubs to have reached 600 in 60 countries around the world.
Explaining the facts of this yoga exercising technique, Mr. Gendry says that the body cannot differentiate between pretend and genuine laughter and thus performing the exercise cheers up the body from inside and the person starts feeling the difference.
