Woodstock’s Dental Project Terminated Due To Financial and Other Problems

It was being believed some time past that Race Dental's Woodstock project would be terminated. However, recent reports laid down by Cowra Shire Council have confirmed the project has been finished.

It has been reported that the Council issued a statement last Friday, which said, "Its efforts to help establish a production-based dental laboratory at Woodstock were acknowledged in a letter from the production company but Council was now advised the project was doomed".

Findings in the Council's statement suggest that due to the Dental project a denture manufacturing laboratory facility with advanced technology had been set up near to Woodstock Hotel and were also looking forward to develop old Woodstock Silo site completely.

However, due to several factors, including lack of specialist staff, federal government backing from funding, and also major issues concerning internet and power facilities, led to the closure of the project.

Brad Race from Race Dental asserted that the Council and also State Government's Department of State and Regional Development have helped them to a great extent to make the project a success, but the major drawbacks encountered have led to the termination of the project, despite essential efforts put in by everyone.

Cowra Mayor, Councilor Bill West affirmed that it was disappointing that due to financial and other problems, the project had to be closed.
