Scientists and Engineers of USA are to be honored by the Government of United States for carrying out their independent research careers in their respective fields. In total, 96 researchers will be bestowed with this Presidential Early Career Awards. Names of all have been announced today by President Obama.
Obama while appraising these people said “Discoveries in science and technology not only strengthen our economy, they inspire us as a people. The impressive accomplishments of today’s awardees so early in their careers promise even greater advances in the years ahead”.
By giving the Presidential early career awards to these researchers, Obama aims in representing them as some of the most important personalities of the country. These outstanding scientists and engineers have not only contributed in the welfare of the American Economy but have also helped in upgrading the Nation’s goals and they have been always there to tackle any sort of challenges.
However, the departments and agencies that are behind the scheduling of this award ceremony are Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, Department of Commerce, Department of Education, Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Energy, Department of the Interior, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Science Foundation. All of them come together once in a year to nominate the most deserving candidates.
